Brief info
John prides himself in his team work approach, an ethic instilled in him during his 24 years in Her Majesty’s Forces and believes that a successful business is built on that very same ethic, be it a Sole Trader or SME; team work is the key. In this current financial climate John feels it is vitally important to a business that its finances are proactively managed, allowing the business owners to focus on growing their business.
John’s strong analytical approach to problem solving ensures that solutions sourced add value to Client’s business success, working closely with the Client to generate a business and directional plan to achieve that success.
His Project Management, Supply Chain and Material Management skills were attained during his Forces career, a secondary career, over the past 10 years, has been carved out in the SME Business Administration Arena.
John’s background has seen him provide his expertise in business administration, cost control, forecasting and budgets, reviewing overall business processes and procedures to SME’s, involving both implementation and improvement, ensuring a positive impact on turnover and profit.
A keen runner, he has completed The BUPA Great North Run, The BUPA Great South Run (twice). the Cyprus Half-Marathon and The New Forest Half-Marathon, and in 2014 completed the London Marathon with his wife, Susan - raising funds for the Lymphoma Cancer Trust, shortly afterwards completed Tough Mudder in Winchester. In 2018 John completed a skydive raising money for a local charity – Football for Kids.
